We sure do miss you. Steve, breakfast at Cracker Barrel, which I would have loved today, will never be the same. Davin has just been on the floor making “crafts” with some of the office supplies Lisa gave us. Tammy is off to Winter Park leading a marriage/family retreat for some soldier families. Here last week at least 3 soldiers died, two in a murder/suicide and one in a car versus pole suicide. Sorry to give bad news but just to say Tammy will have lots of work to do for a long time to come. If the Broncos win tonight, I may start to buy into the “divine intervention” hoopla. Here is some news for us. We are going to put Davin in kindergarten next August, before she turns 5. Hopefully, she can improve with her number and letter formation before then. She continues to be a 50/50 mix of sweetness and terror. My in-laws sprang for Disney World tickets over Christmas, so Davin got to meet several princesses plus Tinker Bell. Nursing school keeps coming at me. I expect to finish in September. I don’t know what we will do after that, but so far I am interested in cancer care and substance abuse. No clue when baby #2 is coming. Most likely more than 9 months away, but we would love to have someone to distract Davin’s energy for a while. We didn’t trek into the woods for the authentic tree this year since we weren’t going to be here. I hope Christmas for you was happy in spite of the weather and other things. I’m gonna run.
